St. Gregory the Great offers a curriculum that reflects the most current educational research and best practices and that gives students the tools and transferable skills necessary to succeed in the 21st century.

Current research indicates that the traditional high school schedule can be an obstacle for the kinds of curriculum and instruction needed to enable students to compete and succeed in the 21st century. Research indicates that students learn better in longer blocks of time and become more involved in their own learning. At SGHS, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays are comprised of eight 40-minute classes, while Wednesdays and Thursdays are made up of four 80-minute classes.
