Sports are an important part of student life at St. Gregory the Great High School. Because participation in the program is a privilege, an athlete’s grades must be maintained. Sports and activities are offered based on sufficient student participation.

In order to protect students’ individual eligibility, schools of the Archdiocese of Chicago support the policies of the Illinois High School Association. In doing so, SGHS may not promise or offer athletic scholarships of any kind. Violations may result in loss of eligibility for student, coach and or school.
