Curriculum Block Scheduling Guidance Counseling Learning Resource Program (LRP) Protégé Program Graduation Requirements

To receive a diploma from St. Gregory the Great High School a student must:

  • have earned all the credits required by the state of Illinois
  • have earned all the credits required in the four-year course of studies at St. Gregory High School or a suitable adaptation thereof (as recommended by counselor and approved by administration) if he/she transfers to St. Gregory from another high school
  • be enrolled in a full program of study in senior year
  • have paid all debts incurred to SGHS
  • have official transcripts on file for all work completed at other high schools
  • have successfully completed senior retreat
  • have passed all classes stage 4 of senior year.

A senior who fails any class in stage 4 will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony, even if he/she has sufficient credits to graduate. The diploma will be awarded privately.
